Cru de Orange is a traditional French delicacy known by the name "Orangette" referring to "Orange" the orange. In many a French chocolate shop you will see this luxury chocolate creation in the form of an oblong bar completely dipped in chocolate. In our chocolate shop in Tilburg, we chose to use orange slices and cut them in half, so that you can still see some of the beautiful structure of the orange. In addition, the orange color also forms a nice contrast with the dark chocolate. To make it complete, we finish this luxurious chocolate creation with an edible bronze spray. Due to the use of dark chocolate, the Cru de Orange are Vegan. 

Origin of candied oranges 

Who knows better than the French themselves how to candle fruit. Hence, for this exclusive Cru de Orange chocolate, we source the candied oranges from Cruzilles based in the South of France. They have over 140 years of experience in fruit candying! The oranges they use for this purpose come from the surroundings of Valencia. Oranges from this region guarantee the best taste and you can taste it. Together with the dark chocolate, the slightly bitter candied orange forms a perfect flavor combination. Sweet and slightly bitter. A true luxury chocolate creation!
